Academic Forum: Co-mediation or Collaborative Practice: What is the Difference
In the discussion, entitled “ Co-mediation or Collaborative Practice: What is the Difference”, the interviewers will be drawing on the speakers’ expertise in these areas to help clarify these concepts, as it relates to practice. The session will offer attendees an opportunity to explore questions and scenarios related to how both co-mediation and collaborative practice, in their own ways, operate co-operatively in the best interests of the child and clients involved. Further to that, the panel will examine the need for a model that encourages a co-operative co-mediation relationship between mental health and legal mediators.
